In 2010, Eugene Fertelmeyster traded in his artistic aspirations for a series of ever-steadier paychecks. While these years brought stability and structure, Eugene found himself feeling empty and unsatisfied. After a series of events made it clear that life was too short to live someone's else's dream, GROVER was born.
Rooted in the indie-folk traditions of Appalachia and the driving anthems of Scottish/Irish rock, GROVER's music gives voice to the often felt but rarely spoken experiences of a generation searching for authenticity in an all too filter-friendly world.
